Welcome to 2021! We could think of no better way to kick off the new year than with THIS news: We added 15 more BroadcastHER Grant recipients to our Fall 2020 group of 45, for a grand total of 60!

Add that to our Spring 2020 BroadcastHER recipients, and we funded nearly 100 talented young women in streaming last year!

Now, you might be thinking… how were we able to make this AMAZING addendum of winners happen?

Well, it’s thanks to all of the support from the broadcasting community in 2020, bolstered by our MERRY and BRIGHT Stream The Halls holiday fundraiser that surpassed even our biggest dreams!

The BEST part was when we told these 15 additional grant recipients!

During the last two weeks of 2020, we orchestrated a big surprise for each of them with our BroadcastHER community along with some of our Stream The Halls fundraisers.

While each of the girls was streaming, a group of members in the 1,000 Dreams Fund’s Discord channel hopped into the respective winner’s stream, congratulating them with a surprise message to welcome them to the BroadcastHER community officially.
