Happy December! We love this month here at 1,000 Dreams Fund because it gives us the chance to really look back at at the year and reflect on the work we’ve done, the dreams we’ve funded thanks to our generous community of supporters, fundraisers, and partners, and the aspirational young women’s lives that have been changed for the better as a result!

December is also the start of the giving season, which we are so excited about! We hope to be able to reach our fundraising dreams, so that we can fuel the dreams of even more deserving young women next year!

There truly is no better way to end the year than by giving back — and we’d love to share how you can help 1,000 Dreams Fund turn even more dreams into realities next year!

1. Help us fund MORE DREAMS in the New Year through our “1,000 Dreams Into 1,000 Realities” end-of-year campaign.

This holiday season, we ask YOU to help us turn #1000DreamsTo1000Realities for these young women by making a DONATION! 

A shocking number of bright, talented young women are unable to visit different universities before making their final enrollment decisions because they cannot cover the costs, especially when they are also looking at fees for prep courses, admission tests and applications. That’s where 1,000 Dreams Fund’s Project: Girls On The Rise comes in!

We help young women with bright minds break those financial barriers by funding the resources they need to explore colleges and find the right higher education school for them to thrive.

2. Support a DREAM with Crypto!

When you think of cryptocurrency, you may not think of nonprofit donations. But, not anymore!

At 1,000 Dreams Fund, we’re so excited that we’ve gone crypto, thanks to a partnership with The Giving Block — a company that facilitates tax-exempt cryptocurrency donations for nonprofits. 

So, if crypto, bitcoin or another crypto-currency is your thing, you can give here!

3. ‘Stream The Halls’ with 1,000 Dreams Fund — our annual holiday Twitch charity event — returns!

1,000 Dreams Fund continues its commitment to elevating women in the digital broadcasting and gaming space with our fourth annual Stream The Halls fundraiser, powered by Twitch. All proceeds raised will fund the 1DF-Twitch BroadcastHER Grant Program which is specifically for women in broadcasting. 

We’ll be featuring up to 30 amazing broadcasters throughout the month of December, but you can still sign up to fundraise with your very own campaign and help young women in need reach their dreams in broadcasting and beyond!
