At 1,000 Dreams Fund, we love a good collaboration. In fact, we have such a fun Twitch Charity Fundraising Event for YOU to collaborate with us this summer. Our annual summer-themed “Streams for Dreams” returns this August with an exciting #BroadcastHERCollab format.

We’re teaming up with content creators (LIKE YOU!) who are passionate about helping women and women-aligned folks reach their dreams in broadcasting, gaming, content creation, and beyond!

From Monday, August 29 through Friday, September 1, we’ll be hosting our first-ever #BroadcastHERCollab, featuring an exciting lineup of live streams that pair seasoned content creators with other like-minded streamers  — while raising money for our BroadcastHER Grant!

As a reminder, this grant awards up to $1,500 to support women content creators by funding hardware upgrades and equipment, continued education, and even travel. And for the FIRST TIME, the grant will be available for creators outside of Twitch, too!

Since our inception in March of 2018, we are proud to have raised more than $400,000 and have officially funded more than 300 content creators through the BroadcastHER Initiative alone.

 This type of funding is so important, as it was recently reported that only three out of the top 100 streamers on Twitch are women and only ONE is a woman of color.

Interested in supporting our BroadcastHER Grant AND our mission to empower and elevate women in this space? Here’s what to do next:

• Sign up for a two-hour Streams for Dreams #BroadcastHERCollab fundraising slot to be paired with an up-and-coming woman in broadcasting, gaming, and/or content creation.
• In the sign-up form, provide your preferred time, livestream format, and info on what sort of content creator you’d like to be matched with. Then, 1DF will connect with you with a potential match for your review!
• Make sure to sign up before August 12th!

All fundraisers will receive a toolkit with everything you need to make your participation a huge success!
