Meet Yehab G. (he/him), a Bold Futures Scholarship winner who is pursuing Computer Information Systems at The University of Texas at Dallas.
What is your dream?
My goal is to use technology and AI to build tools that solve real problems businesses deal with every day—not just impressive tech for its own sake, but solutions that actually save people time and money and make operations run smoother.
I want to keep growing as a leader in this space, too—someone who understands both the technical side and the business side well enough to bridge the two, communicate clearly with different types of people, and turn ideas into things that businesses actually use and rely on.
Ultimately I want to be someone who does not just build solutions but leads the people and teams behind them, creating real value while continuing to develop as both an entrepreneur and a leader in tech.
Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.
Being selected as a Bold Futures Scholar means a lot to me. This support takes real pressure off as I continue at UT Dallas and lets me focus more on building the skills and experience I need to actually break into tech and AI, instead of worrying about how to pay for it.
What advice do you have for others reaching for their dreams?
Stay curious, remain resilient in the face of challenges, and never hesitate to seek out mentorship and communities that support your growth.
What else would you like to share about you and your win?
My name is Yehab G., and I’m a recipient of the Bold Futures Scholarship. Getting this news honestly caught me off guard, as I wasn’t expecting to be chosen out of so many strong applicants. It means a lot that 1,000 Dreams Fund saw potential in what I’m working toward.
I plan to put this funding toward things like textbooks and resources that support my Computer Information Systems studies at UT Dallas, so I can keep building the technical foundation I need for a career in tech and AI.
