Meet Trissauna M. (she/her), a New Face of Tech winner who is studying public health at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

What is your dream?

My dream is to earn my Bachelor of Science in Public Health and pursue a career in medical device sales while continuing to explore my passions in healthcare, including midwifery, prosthetics for amputees, and lactation consulting. I am driven by a desire to improve lives, support families, and contribute to meaningful change in the health field. Through education and hard work, I hope to build a future that reflects both my ambitions and my commitment to helping others.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Never let your circumstances define your potential. As a single mother balancing school, work, and family, I’ve learned that perseverance and faith can carry you through even the hardest days. Stay focused, keep pushing forward, and don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way. Your dreams are valid, and with determination, they are achievable.
