Treshana L., 32 – FUNDED

Meet Treshana L. (she/her), a Paliwal Club of 100 Music Scholar who is studying music — specifically jazz voice — at University of North Texas.

What is your dream?

My dream is to build a sustainable career as a professional artist who uses music as a source of healing, empowerment, and connection. As a Gospel Neo-Soul singer-songwriter, I aim to deliver messages of love, joy, hope, and peace through transparent, soul-stirring songs marked by vulnerability and authentic lyricism. Ultimately, my music points listeners to Christ.

Beyond releasing music, my dream includes offering therapeutic music workshops that provide safe, supportive spaces for healing and creative exploration. In music education, I aspire to help individuals develop their musicianship, discover their voice, and pursue their dreams with confidence by fostering learning environments that encourage creativity and curiosity.

Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.

This win confirms my calling and equips me to continue creating music that heals, inspires, and leads people to Christ.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

It’s never too late to walk toward the dreams you’ve been given. Take steps forward even when fear or insecurity tries to hold you back. With each step, clarity and confidence grow. Over time, those small, brave steps add up, and before you know it, you’re living what you once only imagined. Don’t let the “what ifs” define your trajectory; let faith, courage, and action guide you forward.
