Meet TheMayhemMermaid (she/her).

What is your dream in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

My dream is to become a prominent voice in the gaming industry who advocates for diversity in gaming and the importance of mental health. Being a representative of these important values, while raising awareness of what our community needs truly brings me a sense of purpose.

Please share how winning support from 1,000 Dreams Fund is important to your dream and what impact it will have on your career?

Receiving this funding to attend TwitchCon San Diego 2024 will allow me the opportunity to speak on these thoughts with like-minded creators, and I’ll have the chance to network with industry professionals who can help amplify my reach and its impact.

What advice do you have for women & femmes who want to work in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

You deserve to take up space in this industry. Be loud, be proud, and be the fearless leader that younger you would be proud of and look up to. Speak loudly, even if your voice shakes, because your voice needs to be heard. There is strength in numbers, and making a difference begins with YOU!
