Meet thatsbreanna (she/her).

What is your dream in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

My dream is to be a voice for other Black femme creators! I also want to be a part of esports as well Valorant!

I have been gaming since I was young — from playing Xbox games like Dead or Alive and X-Men! When I started to learn all about streaming, content creation, and more, it became a dream of mine to be in the big leagues of those who entertain with gaming! I love seeing everyone have a good time in others streams and wanted to be just like big creators that get to make an impact in this career.

I love to make others laugh and this seemed like a great space for me to present myself in.

Please share how winning support from 1,000 Dreams Fund is important to your dream and what impact it will have on your career?

It helps fund my trip to San Diego for my second TwitchCon! The first time I went, I had so much fun and swore to myself that I would keep trying to go no matter what. It is expensive, so it is something I had to commit to and it is what I will do for as long as this lasts! This gives me a chance to be able to network more and meet other creators and learn from panels that they offer! I loved it the first time around and want to experience more again.

What advice do you have for women & femmes who want to work in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

Just do it! I know that is so generic but so many people feel as though it is such a complicated world and would never know what to do and as I see it, it is just going for it! Sometimes things will mess up and you will feel as though you have hit a brick wall. But I can guarantee you that once you see that progress, it is always worth it! I’m still at those points where I hit a wall and feel as though things are hard, but I always pass through them.
