More things this BroadcastHER Grant winner loves? Anime, Final Fantasy XIV, pizza (and pineapple on pizza!), cosplay, and ramen!

What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?

I want to be a voice that speaks loudly for the disabled and I want to create a stream community that is an awesome place to chill, vibe, and game in.

How will your award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

It will give my stream setup the upgrade that it has been needing for a very long time.

What does being a recipient mean to you?

It means the world to me that I have been accepted. I want to encourage anyone who is contemplating applying to not let their doubts keep them from taking their chance.

Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?

We need to be loud, cause chaos, and hype up our accomplishments, because we’re here to stay. We could also have monthly collab streams with other grant recipients — just chatting or as a game night!

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

Honestly, the biggest challenge I’ve had at this point was having to rebuild from the bottom multiple times — namely when I went to Mixer and came back to Twitch after the former shut down in June 2020.

What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?

Make do with what you have. You don’t need to go in with the whole ensemble of equipment on day one.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

It helps to stay motivated if I’m being hyped up by friends and when I am reminded that I’m not alone.
