Meet Mina N. (she/her), a VP of Impact Challenge winner who is studying psychology at the University of Southern Maine.

What is your dream?

My dream is to become a psychotherapist and create a healthy environment and a more accepting community for those who are struggling. I want to make what seems impossible, possible for everyone and anyone that feels that they are struggling. I want everyone to have a safe space and someone to rely on when times get tough or just to talk.

Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.

Indescribable. This will have a major impact on my career that will let me focus on what I’m doing rather than the financial and unexpected burdens that come along. Thank you for this opportunity.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Being a woman in a world full of negativity can be daunting. Pushing those stereotypes and walls aside will allow you to see all the opportunities that have been hidden from you. Break down those barriers and focus on yourself!
