Meet Milan R. (she/her), a New Face of Tech winner who is studying User Experience and Serious Game Research & Design at Michigan State University.

What is your dream?

My dream is to become a UX/UI designer who creates inclusive and accessible digital experiences, especially in gaming and creative technology spaces. I want to design products that reflect diverse users, remove pain points, and make everyone feel represented and welcomed.

What a pleasant surprise! I am so ecstatic and honored to have won this scholarship. Being chosen as a scholar will truly help me achieve my professional goals in UX/UI design.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Believe in yourself, even when self-doubt tries to creep in. Celebrate your small wins, because each step forward matters and builds momentum. When the path feels uncertain, keep going, seek community, ask for help, and remember that your dreams are valid and worth pursuing.
