Meet Mayorinna G. (she/her), a New Face of Tech winner who is studying computer and information science at University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

What is your dream?

As an international student pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I received to learn, grow, and broaden my perspective. My dream is to use my technical expertise to influence and shape policy, create meaningful societal impact, and help open similar pathways for others to access education, opportunity, and innovation so that technology can serve the greater good.

Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.

Opportunities like this help women like me feel supported and inspire us to work harder. This recognition motivates me to continue creating meaningful impact through my work.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Trust your journey, because you know it best. Keep working hard, take one step at a time, and remember to care for yourself along the way. As simple as it sounds, this has been the most meaningful advice I have learned.
