Even though @Kitty_r6 has faced a lot of toxic harassment, this BroadcastHER Grant winner has tried to not let it stand in the way. Here’s more about her journey.

What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?

I want to stream IRL experiences.

How will your award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

It will help me get a laptop to stream from other places — and do cooking streams!

What does being a recipient mean to you?

It means being a part of a nice community of women content creators.

Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?

We can game more together while helping women understand that they can be involved in e-sports and even play competitively.

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

I’ve faced toxicity, sexism, harassment, death threats, and all kinds of threats — even threats toward my family.

What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?

Be strong and know what you really want. If you love video games, you can make it work. But you’ll need a strong will to do it.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

I love what I do — and I want to improve every day.
