What is your dream in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

My dream is to be a part of the teams that create world-class esports broadcasts like the League of Legends World Championship. I’ve been in love with esports ever since I discovered it as a kid, and from that point on, working in the industry became my dream. As I moved through high school, I developed a strong interest in video production, and in college, I pursued that alongside managing and competing with our esports club’s League of Legends team.

While I am still extremely passionate about everything that comes with competing in esports, the production side of esports is still the most satisfying aspect to me. Being part of a team that brings esports to life for other fans is my biggest dream.

Please share how winning support from 1,000 Dreams Fund is important to your dream and what impact it will have on your career?

This support is incredibly important to my dream because it gives me an opportunity I wouldn’t have had. Coming out of college, I wasn’t even sure I’d get a real chance to pursue this path. The industry is built on experience and connections, and this program gives me access to both while learning from some of the most talented people in esports. Support from 1DF has been the most impactful thing to happen in my career so far, and the experience I’ll gain working at the Riot Games’ Remote Broadcast Center (RBC), powered by AWS, is something I know I’ll carry with me into every role I take on in the future.

What advice do you have for others who want to work in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

I think the biggest piece of advice I could give is to get involved in local or online communities. For me, that started with my college, the University of North Florida (Go Ospreys), and expanded online through spaces like Titan Esports in League of Legends and the Counter-Strike Confederation in CS2. Those communities gave me opportunities to meet people, compete, work on broadcasts, and actually be part of the scene instead of just watching it. Communities are one of the best ways to network and gain hands-on experience in whatever niche you’re interested in within gaming, esports, or content creation. Through my time in different communities, I was able to develop real skills in team management, live broadcast production, video editing, casting, and working as part of a team.
