What is your dream in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

When I first got into this space, I did not know what to expect or let alone think I would do this for a long time. Fast forward to almost four years later, I have seen and experienced so much. I have met so many amazing individuals from all walks of life and I now have the opportunity to be able to do this for a living. I see the potential that this space has and the endless opportunities that can open the doors to many more.

My ultimate dream is to be able to create a sustainable lifestyle to be able to balance content creation and gaming, but also to continue to pursue my careers and future endeavors. I hope to one day own my own business and travel the world to share my story.

I have worked very hard especially this year to prioritize my physical and mental health. That is why I would also love to continue to build a community for all gamers and fitness enthusiasts to fit physical and mental strength into their daily routines — whether it’s leveling up in weights, or in a gaming session, or practicing mindfulness routine that are fun and engaging.

Please share how winning support from 1,000 Dreams Fund is important to your dream and what impact it will have on your career?

As I mentioned, one of my dreams is to become a full-time content creator and it’s finally starting to come into reality. Support from the 1,000 Dreams Fund is so important because this is a stepping stone that gets me one step closer to this long-term goal. Not only will this support help fund the upcoming TwitchCon San Diego convention, it will also help me make upgrades to my setup so it’s more ergonomic and facilitate higher quality content for my community.

This will also give me the opportunity to align and connect with other female streamers, share each other’s stories, and continue to learn and growing in the neverending space of streaming and gaming. I am beyond grateful and lost for words and look forward to the impact and growth that it will have for my career and dreams.

What advice do you have for women & femmes who want to work in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

1. Start Now: It is never too late to start following your passions. I am a women in my 30s and I never thought that playing video games as a hobby could turn into something much more impactful. You control your own timeline. Don’t make excuses to get you out of something that can lead to something so beautiful. The time is now and all else will follow in divine time.

2. Own Your Voice: Stay true and authentic to yourself. Show transparency and openness. Set boundaries. Protect your peace.

3. Support: Be your biggest cheerleader for yourself. Be a support system for other women and femmes. Continue to be role models for other aspiring creators.

4: Prioritize You: Your physical and mental well-being is just as important as being consistent. Life happens and some things in life we have no control over. What we can control is our response and our actions. We are only human and it is okay to take care of you, not matter how much time you need. Set time for you.
