What is your dream in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

My ultimate dream in gaming is to not only compete at a high level but to also create more space for women — especially Black women — within competitive FPS and TPS titles like Call of Duty and Warzone. Representation is something I’m deeply passionate about, because I know how important it is for younger girls to see someone who looks like them thriving in these spaces.

Beyond competing, I want to step into coaching and mentorship — working directly with younger girls who aspire to get into competitive shooters but may not know where to start. I’d love to eventually coach an all-women’s ranked Call of Duty team, creating a safe, structured, and empowering environment where women can sharpen their skills, grow their confidence, and take their place in competitive lobbies.

Winning this fellowship not only supports my own journey toward competing nationally but also gives me the tools, connections, and visibility to pour back into my community, because my vision is bigger than myself. I want to inspire, uplift, and actively guide the next generation of women gamers to claim their seat at the table.

Please share how winning support from 1,000 Dreams Fund is important to your dream and what impact it will have on your career?

Winning this support is incredibly important to my dream because it gives me the tools and platform to grow as both a competitive Call of Duty and Warzone player and as a creator. This opportunity provides me with access to invaluable networking connections with esports leaders and content creation pioneers — people whose guidance and insight can help me continue to level up in my career.

The fellowship allows me to sharpen my own skills, expand my visibility, and learn directly from those paving the way in the gaming industry.

Most importantly, it empowers me to inspire and mentor younger girls, especially younger Black girls, who want to step into FPS and TPS games but may not yet see themselves represented.

The impact on my career goes beyond my personal growth; it helps me build connections and gain knowledge that I can pour back into my community, creating more space for women in competitive gaming and streaming.

What advice do you have for women & femmes who want to work in gaming, esports, and/or content creation?

My biggest advice for women and femmes who want to work in gaming, esports, and content creation is to step boldly into the space and remember that you belong here. Don’t be afraid to take up space, use your voice, and lean into your passions, because your perspective matters. Community is also everything, so surround yourself with people who uplift you, support your growth, and remind you of your value when challenges arise. Seek out mentors, network with peers, and learn from those who’ve already paved paths in the industry. Most importantly, give yourself grace, you don’t have to have it all figured out on day one. Every step you take, whether small or big, is building toward your future. And for my younger girls — especially Black girls — know that you are seen, you are powerful, and there is always room for you in these spaces.
