What is your dream in gaming and/or esports?

I want to help create a space for women in gaming and esports.

How will this award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

It is integral in helping me have the financial freedom as well as the time to be able to create the content that I make.

What does being a 1,000 Dreams Fund – JBL Quantum Grant recipient mean to you?

I am truly honored that my work in this space is being recognized and I am so excited to put this grant to good use in the coming year.

Women are underrepresented in gaming and esports. What can we do to change this?

I do my best to be vocal and unapologetically take up space as a women in gaming and invite other women into my space. I also work hard to uplift other women along with myself and give them opportunities to help us all grow together.

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

I have received a lot of backlash for simply existing online. I create a lot of content and have received a large amount of abuse for it. I don’t allow any of that to slow me down, though, because I understand how important it is for other women to see themselves in me.

What advice do you have for women who want to work in the gaming or esports industry?

We all need to help lift each other up. There is room for all of us here and every space is better with other women around. The gaming and esports world belongs to us as much as it belongs to men.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

Seeing other women thriving in their own spaces inspires me to work hard in mine. I want to be an inspiration to other women everywhere.
