@InfamousPinky, 34 – FUNDED

Variety streamer @InfamousPinky lives in Texas (no, she doesn’t ride horses.. that often!!). As a mom of two, this BroadcastHER Grant recipient sometimes has her hands full. She started streaming as a simple way to hang out with her friends. Now, it has become a much bigger focus for her and she has made more friends along the way!

What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?

My dream is to show that gaming moms can strive and achieve anything, just like everyone else.

How will your award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

It will help get a new motherboard which will help my streams run better. That means it will help me engage more with my audience!

What does being a recipient mean to you?

It means that I am actually being seen — that, even though I struggle with streaming sometimes, my content is being noticed.

Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?

Apply some pressure to companies in the gaming industry — even if they think we don’t have the potential or qualifications. Companies need to know that we are out here and we are just as good!

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

Being a mom and streaming! It’s hard to stream when you have little ones that want your attention constantly. But I don’t want to lose my passion, so I just keep pushing.

What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?

Just do it! You will never know if you don’t like it unless you try.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

My gaming friends… they are the ones who I look up to for motivation because they strive in everything they do. They motivate me to keep pushing forward.
