For years, @Haseo_Sparda has been passionate about video games — mainly fighting games at a competitive level, which has allowed her to travel and participate in different parts of the world. This BroadcastHER Grant recipient is based in Mexico and specializes in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2.

What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?

I want to be a great influencer for my community.

How will your award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

I can pay for better equipment for my stream.

What does being a recipient mean to you?

It is a great honor to be a representative for all streamer girls in the fighting game community.

Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?

We need to give them more broadcast media.

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

Discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying.

What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?

Have confidence and be consistent!

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

The people I love motivate me because they always support me.
