Meet Gracie H. (she/her), a New Face of Tech winner who is studying Experience Design and Management at Brigham Young University.

What is your dream?

My dream is to create experiences that help people feel truly seen, connected, and joyful. I love designing spaces and moments that bring light into everyday life, whether that’s through events, immersive exhibits, or meaningful gatherings that invite people to slow down and connect. I want to use creativity and empathy to turn simple ideas into experiences that leave people feeling inspired. My ultimate mission is to bring people together and build relationships through enriching experiences—because at the heart of it all, that is what life is truly about.

Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.

This scholarship reminds me that there is a place for creativity and empathy in tech. It motivates me to keep building meaningful, people-centered experiences and to take bold steps forward in my career.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Growth comes from showing up, learning as you go, and giving yourself grace along the way. It’s okay to fail, and not only is it okay, it is encouraged. For when we fail, we actually grow. Who cares if you look a little silly trying? Life is too short to be worried about what everyone else is thinking. Go out, try new things, and remember to live in the moment.
