What is your dream?

My professional dream is to work in Public Relations for the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, or Kansas City Royals.

How will you use the 1,000 Dreams Scholarship?

I would like to use my 1,000 Dreams Scholarship to cover tuition for a class at a local community college that I am taking during high school. This will allow for enough general education credits to only have to attend a four year university for two years, which will greatly benefit my career.

What advice do you have for other young women looking to go for their dreams?

Never let any person define your limits. After all, “Even the word impossible reads, ‘I’m possible,’” according to Audrey Hepburn.

Any setbacks? How did you get around them?

The most major setback has been acquiring enough general education classes to make my dream college a reality. As the school is private, its tuition is significantly higher. By getting my general education classes out of the way the tuition begins to balance.

What’s next for you? 

My next goal is to attend Southwest Baptist University and major in Public Relations. From there I hope to get an internship and start working for a sports team.
