What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?
I want to make people laugh and have a good time when they see me on screen. I also want to help others start their journey. I would love to host events.
How will your award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?
The Elgato Facecam will help with the tracking on my model. I will be getting a Leap Motion, too, that will help track my hands to make me more expressive. Those are just a few things!
What does being a recipient mean to you?
It means that my hard work is being recognized and I’m on the right path for what I want to do full-time.
Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?
When events happen, we can make space for women as hosts, gamers, and more. We can also highlight as many women as possible when they are present. We all deserve the spotlight.
What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?
My biggest challenge is finding people who aren’t misleading; people who will not talk behind my back and spread rumors because this has happened to me in the past. But I think I’ve surrounded myself with enough people that actually care about me to not worry about that anymore.
What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?
You’ll never know until you try. Start streaming! You might find yourself with an amazing community who will lift you up during trying times.
How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?
I keep a schedule for myself. It’s for my own streams and if I’m part of an event. Seeing that calendar with objectives on it makes me happy.
