What is your dream?

My dream is to be a renowned geospatial analyst who uses geographical knowledge and computational skills to proffer effective solutions that manage the environment, impact humans positively, and improve socioeconomic development — both locally and globally.

I am elated to have been selected to receive this scholarship. It shows that my academic work is being recognized and acknowledged. This scholarship will support my research presentation and give me the opportunity to tell other geoscientists about my work, while connecting with like minds and receiving constructive feedback.

​What advice do you have for other young women who are wanting to pursue their dreams?

Do not let the world intimidate you; rather, listen to your heart and work smart to shine your light. The beginning might be tough, but it will all be worth it as you progress and see those very accomplishments you once dreamed of come true.
