Meet Brielle B. (she/her), a New Face of Tech winner who is studying chemical engineering at Purdue University.

What is your dream?

My dream is to be an engineer who inspires others. I hope to share my skills and knowledge with younger generations to motivate diverse individuals to use their voice for good. I also dream to be well-traveled, learning others’ unique perspectives and cultures to not only be an ethical engineer, but to be a well-rounded citizen.

Please share how you feel about the win and what impact it will have on your career.

This scholarship will allow me to pursue extracurricular opportunities that were originally financially limited. These funds will support my study abroad in Paris this summer, where I will learn new perspectives and appreciate a different culture.

What advice do you have for other women reaching for their dreams?

Seek out every opportunity possible! Not only will you be able to grow your connections and network, but you never know what opportunities might come with just showing up and doing your best work.
