@BiscuitRoses might joke that all she does is draw and eat hot chips, but this bisexual Latina, artist, and BroadcastHER Grant winner has her eye on building an inclusive community where all are welcome without judgment.

What is your dream as a digital broadcaster?

My dream is to do charity streams and build an inclusive community.

How will the BroadcastHER Grant from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals?

It will help my education and I’m looking forward to learning new skills.

What does being the recipient of the BroadcastHER Grant mean to you?

It means I am a part of an inclusive and strong, women-led team, which makes me extremely happy and motivated.

Women are underrepresented in gaming, broadcasting, and e-sports. What can we do to change this?

We need to uplift each other. Together we can overcome any obstacles and help all women achieve their goals.

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way?

Last year I was disowned by my family after coming out. After that, I was struggling for a while and not able to go to school. But this grant has given me hope — and meeting the other recipients has also made me feel like I belong somewhere.

What advice do you have for women who want to start broadcasting?

My advice is to be loud, proud, and fearless. You can achieve anything you want. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals?

I think what motivates me is wanting to motivate others. I want to help other women succeed.
