Bilingual Tekken 7 player and streamer @Anya_Tekken has a full plate with content creation, events, and competitions — and this JBL Quantum Grant winner refuses to be held back by any of the challenges she’s faced along the way.

What is your dream in gaming and/or esports? 

I want to continue competing, creating content, streaming, and organizing events full-time as well as inspiring and helping others along the way.

How will this award from the 1,000 Dreams Fund help you reach your goals? 

It will help me get stream equipment and a next gen console to continue creating content and competing.

What does being a 1,000 Dreams Fund – JBL Quantum Grant recipient mean to you? 

It means a lot! Without this grant, I wouldn’t be able to buy the equipment I need to continue reaching my goals. This will help my career growth so, so much!!

Women are underrepresented in gaming and esports. What can we do to change this?

Make them feel welcome… inspire and help them reach their goals.

What are some of the challenges you have faced along the way? 

Unhealthy criticism, misogyny, and ill-willed people… but I will never let any of these things stop me.

What advice do you have for women who want to work in the gaming or esports industry? 

Don’t EVER let your dreams be dreams. Every goal is within our reach.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals? 

As a full-time gamer, being consistent and strict with my own schedule is very important. ClickUp is a great time management tool that helps me keep everything in track.
