Providing one-time educational assistance for individuals currently enrolled in college or graduate school throughout the United States who aspire to work in business, tech and financial services.

1,000 Dreams Fund is thrilled to launch its Bold Futures Scholarship, part of our new partnership with TIAA. The Bold Futures Scholarship Powered by TIAA aims to provide financial support and mentorship to students who are pursuing careers in the growing business, tech and finance industry. The program is intended to help support the development of a talent pool for the financial services, while providing for a clear pathway for individuals who want to thrive in the industry.

Our scholarship covers those extra cost outside of tuition, and can include assistance for needs including, but not exclusive to:

educational conferences
instructional programs related to educational pursuits or research projects
exam application fees or accreditation coursework
textbooks

Needs that are ongoing (e.g., utility bills, food costs) or related to medical care are NOT covered by this fund. This scholarship is not to fund tuition. The intention is to provide access to educational opportunities beyond tuition.

Eligibility

Criteria: To be eligible for this grant you must be a U.S.-based student currently enrolled in a two-year, four-year college/university or graduate school. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection will be based on application contents and financial need. International students and previous recipients are NOT eligible to apply.

Guidelines: Applications must be submitted by the deadline below to be considered.

Amount: Ten (10) scholarships of $1,000

Application Available: April 22, 2026

Application Deadline: May 29, 2026

Winners will be announced on or around June 15, 2026.

FAQs

Who is eligible to apply?

All students from the United States that are currently enrolled in a U.S.-based secondary education institution – junior college, university, graduate school, etc. – are able eligible to apply. You must show proof of current enrollment in a United States based school.

International students are NOT eligible for this scholarship.

This program aims to support students pursuing degrees in business, technology, and financial services related fields.

How can I use my scholarship?

This educational assistance can include needs such as, but not limited to: educational conferences, instructional programs related to educational studies or related projects, graduate exam application fees, and textbooks.

Ongoing needs such as tuition, room and board fees, etc. are NOT covered by this fund.
