The VP of Impact Challenge

Powered by Nestlé, this challenge provides one-time educational assistance for currently enrolled college-aged or graduate school women throughout the United States who aspire to create positive social impact in the world.

The VP (Vice President) of Impact Challenge aims to provide financial support and mentorship to women who are pursuing their educational dreams while focused on being a force for good. The challenge is intended for students to share how they would create positive social impact in the world through the power of Nestlé’s brands.

Submission Guidance

  1. State the Cause First: Begin your response by clearly stating the cause or issue you want to support (e.g., hunger relief, sustainability, nutrition, waste reduction, water stewardship, etc.).
  2. Identify Your Target Group: Next, specify which Nestlé group you will engage in your initiative. Will you focus on Nestlé employees, brands, retail partners, or consumers?
  3. Describe Your Idea: Outline your fundraising strategy. This could include cause-marketing campaigns, social enterprise initiatives, sales-based fundraising, events, pop-ups, or other innovative ideas. Be sure to define:
    • What: Clearly explain what the idea is and how it relates to the power of food.
    • How: Detail how it will work — what are the key steps involved in executing the idea?
    • Who: Identify who from Nestlé will participate and who will be impacted by your initiative.
    • When/Timeline: Offer an approximate timeline for launching and running your idea. For example, will it take place over a month, a year, or be tied to a specific season?
  4. Connect to Nestlé’s Identity: Keep in mind that your ideas should either relate to a specific brand or Nestlé overall – for example, if you come up with an idea that features Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Morsels, be sure to connect it back to the brand’s unique identity.
