Providing one-time educational assistance for individuals currently enrolled in college or graduate school throughout the United States who aspire to work in the healthcare industry.

1,000 Dreams Fund is proud to offer the Colgate-Palmolive Scholars Program, part of our multi-year partnership with Colgate-Palmolive. The Colgate-Palmolive Scholars Program aims to provide financial support and mentorship to students who are pursuing careers in the growing healthcare industry. The program is intended to help support the development of a talent pool for the healthcare industry, while providing for a clear pathway for individuals who want to thrive in the industry.

Our scholarship covers those extra cost outside of tuition, and can include assistance for needs including, but not exclusive to:

educational conferences
instructional programs related to STEM or research projects
exam application fees or accreditation coursework
textbooks

Needs that are ongoing (e.g., utility bills, food costs) or related to medical care are NOT covered by this fund. This scholarship is not to fund tuition. The intention is to provide access to educational opportunities beyond tuition.

Eligibility

Criteria: To be eligible for this grant you must be a student currently enrolled in a two-year, four-year college/university or graduate school. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection will be based on application contents and financial need. Previous recipients are not eligible to reapply.

Guidelines: Applications must be submitted by the deadline below to be considered.

Amount: Nine (9) scholarships of $2,000

Application Available: September 9, 2026

Application Deadline: October 16, 2026

Winners will be announced on or around November 18, 2026.

Who is eligible to apply?

All individuals enrolled in a U.S. based institution – college, university, graduate school, etc. – are able to apply regardless of citizenship. You must show proof of current enrollment in a United States based school.

This program aims to support students pursuing degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and healthcare related fields.

How can I use my scholarship?

This educational assistance can include needs such as, but not limited to: educational conferences, instructional programs related to STEM studies or related projects, graduate exam application fees, and textbooks. Ongoing needs such as tuition, room and board fees, etc. are NOT covered by this fund.
