Dream Stream (formerly BroadcastHER LIVE!) is our monthly podcast on the 1,000 Dreams Fund Twitch Channel. Each month, the topics and guests change, but one thing remains the same — all shows aim to empower and help the women and folks we serve achieve their goals and dreams across a variety of fields – especially in gaming, esports, and content creation.

Each year, we seek a new host for the podcast, allowing a member within our community to take the role. We had such fun with our 2019 host @MiladyConfetti, a BroadcastHER Academy recipient, and our 2020 host @LuxieGames and our 2021 hosts @breadwitchery and @CallMeAzia on their position as our first ever co-hosts.

Over the years these amazing hosts have helped creators, and folks in gaming reach their dreams through advice and interviews they have conducted as our hosts. But NOW we’re on the search for a new host for 2023!

Here are the qualities we look for in a host:

– Commitment to empowering the women we serve, especially in streaming, esports, and gaming!
– Energy and passion!
– Comfortable in front of the camera, but no experience is too small!
– A background in journalism or hosting/podcasting experience is beneficial, but not required!
– Ability to commit to doing a one-hour LIVE show each month throughout 2023!
– Passion and familiarity with 1,000 Dreams Fund’s goals and mission!

This paid host opportunity is planned to run monthly March – December 2023, and may have some other additional pop-up opportunities throughout the year. Applications close April 2nd, 2023.
