1,000 Dreams Fund's BroadcastHER All-Women's Apex Tournament
Elevating women in gaming, esports, and content creation — and creating safe spaces for them — is so important to us at 1,000 Dreams Fund. And our second annual BroadcastHER Tournament, in collaboration with Paidia Gaming and Girls Gotta Game, is just one more way we’re doing just that.
This Apex Legends Tournament is a women only tournament designed to encourage and support more women to get tournament experience and enter the esports scene of Apex Legends.
1,000 Dreams Fund, Paidia Gaming, and Girls Gotta Game encourage all women including cis women, trans women, trans feminine, and those who face disparities and discrimination in correlation to misogyny and identity to sign up!
This tournament includes more than $10,000 in prizing up for grabs — thanks to our sponsors at e.l.f. and HyperX.
Prize packages include a $1,000 cash prize — split between the top three finishing teams — along with products from HyperX. Up to five participants will also receive direct BroadcastHER grants provided by 1,000 Dreams Fund!
Check out our tournament schedule:
- Saturday, January 21 @ 3 p.m. EST: Qualifiers Lobby 1 with 60 Players
- Sunday, January 22 @ 3 p.m. EST: Qualifiers Lobby 2 Lobby 2 with an additional 60 Players
- Saturday, March 4 @ 2 p.m. EST: Finals between 60 total competitors

Are you interested in signing up for the 1,000 Dreams Fund x Paidia Gaming x Girls Gotta Game Apex Legends Tournament? Please fill out the interest form below by January 16th! Filling out this interest form DOES NOT confirm your spot, please keep an eye on your email on the status of your application.
To participate in the tournament, you must be available for one of the Qualifiers dates below AND the Finals:
- Qualifiers Lobby 1 will be Saturday, January 21st @ 3PM EST
- Qualifiers Lobby 2 will be Sunday, January 22nd @ 3PM EST
- Finals – Top 10 Teams from Lobby 1 vs. Top 10 Teams from Lobby 2 will be Saturday, March 4th @ 2PM EST
Our final rules will be posted here and in the tournament Discord the week of January 9th, 2023.
To officially register for the tournament, you must sign up through the Paidia registration portal. You and your teammates must each submit a registration form. To register you will need to:
- Fill out BroadcastHER Interest form
- Access the Paidia registration portal | Create an account on paidiagaming.com/home
- Provide your email & Apex Legends username | Create a team on Paidia Gaming
- Join the tournament Discord and check in at the #teams-check-in once your team has been selected | Register here
