Purpose: 1DF created a grant specifically to support women & fem content creators in March of 2018. This program started as a Twitch exclusive grant, but NOW has expanded to including creators on all platforms including Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more. The 1,000 Dreams Fund BroadcastHER Grant provides financial assistance to eligible women & fems to help with expenses such as travel to gaming conventions, educational conferences, hardware upgrades, and instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits. This grant is not intended for everyday expenses (e.g., utility bills, food costs) or costs related to medical care. Our grant was created to support women including cis women, trans women, trans feminine, and those who face disparities and discrimination in correlation to misogyny and identity.

Criteria: To be eligible for this grant you must be a content creator on a public platform such as Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok. We will aim to highlight applicants that are currently enrolled in high school, a two-year, four-year college/university or graduate school based in the U.S where possible! However international applicants and non-students are WELCOME to apply. Applications must include answers explaining how the grant would be used. Selection will be based on application contents and financial need.

Guidelines: This year, for the first-time ever we are thrilled to provide the BroadcastHER Grant on a rolling basis. Have an important event over the summer? Interested in applying for a tournament prize pool? Or have other exciting ways you want to use the BroadcastHER Grant? Be sure to apply before the deadline below!

Amount: Two or more grants of a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $1,500 will be awarded each year. Grants are not renewable, however, non-selected applicants may re-apply.

Deadline: November 15th, 2024 at (11:59PM) midnight EST. Winners to be announced on a rolling basis throughout the year, likely quarterly.

Disbursement: Our BroadcastHER Grant will be funded and provided on a rolling basis in 2024! To be considered please be sure to apply before the closing at the end of 2024 and include as much information as possible about the date of the funding needed.
