March is Women’s History Month — and no better month for our Student Advisory Board (SAB) to team up to raise enough funds to sponsor a young woman for Project: Girls on the Rise (PGOTR). Visit their fundraising page.
PGOTR helps empower young, college-bound women to follow their goals and dreams by funding critical costs, such as campus visits, so that these bright minds with bright futures can find the perfect-for-them school and thrive.
The fundraising kicked off on Monday, March 9 and will continue through early April.
As a group, their goal is to raise $1,000. That means, we’ve given each of the members of our SAB a personal goal of $50. With that, we can fund at least one young woman for our 2020-2021 PGOTR program! Plus, this group fundraiser also empowers our SAB to really make a difference in the life of one of their peers.
This Women’s History Month, our students are so excited to make history together and change lives one young woman at a time.
