In April, we took Vegas by storm with our first visiting group of 2022 Fellows from our BroadcastHER Academy Esports Fellowship program, powered by Allied Esports and HyperX.

This is our FOURTH year of the BroadcastHER Academy, which specifically helps women who want to work in esports and gaming level up their careers and reach their goals.

And we LOVE taking these game-changing trips with our Esports Fellows to the HyperX Arena, where Fellows are given an immersive, behind-the-scenes experience.

For our ninth visit to the HyperX Arena, we brought along @lexilemonhead, @gompersx, @anniepoo, and @squajii.

These four Fellows had a jam-packed itinerary that included an amazing tour, learning opportunities, access to Allied Esports team members, and FUN. 

Here’s a quick look at some of the itinerary highlights:

• Arena tour
• Virtual focus group with HyperX’s team
• Special Q&A and mentor session with Allied Esports CEO Jud Hannigan
• Shadowing team members of Allied Esports at the arena based on their dreams
• Production assistance for the tournament along with competing and casting during the tournament — with on stage interviews!

Our BroadcastHER Academy partner HyperX’s Head of Strategic Alliances, Wendy Lecot, provided a virtual focus group session with our Fellows.

And for some icing on the cake, our friends at NYX Cosmetics even sent customized packages of makeup and products to each of our four Fellows.

Each Fellow also received a special “live” on-stage moment after walking through the HyperX hype tunnel to accept their checks with 1DF founder and CEO Christie Garton, which is always an amazing moment!

This was such a wonderful first trip with both BroadcastHER Academy Fellows and community members alike! 

We were joined by two of our Dream Team members — @callmeazia and @wildspice —  to make this a night to remember!
