1,000 Dreams Fund is seeking student interns to assist with its ongoing MentorHER Initiative, a national initiative to help raise awareness about the importance of mentorship for women. MentorHER pairs individual women in college, graduate school, or recent graduates, with well-matched professionals and executives for a one-hour, 1:1 mentorship session.

The position is paid and will require up to 5 hours maximum of work each week, depending on the current needs and focus of the project.

The MentorHER intern will report to our Programs Manager and will be in charge of the following activities:

  • matching mentors with mentees
  • outreach research for industry contacts
  • emailing and scheduling mentorship sessions
  • joining mentorship calls to capture screenshots
  • joining mentorship calls to troubleshoot & confirm
    attendance
You will need proficiency in Google Suites, strong communication skills, and exemplary time management skills. Students pursuing degrees in business, communications, nonprofit management and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields are encouraged to apply.
