Drum roll, please! We were so excited to announce our 1DF – Twitch BroadcastHER Grant Spring 2019 winners — LIVE!

We started this special initiative at 1,000 Dreams Fund specifically to support female broadcasters on Twitch. Women represent nearly 50 percent of gamers and are rising in influence in the e-sports industry. But, they face challenges such as gender gaps and financial support to fund creative projects.
It is our hope that this grant will help all promising talent work towards their individual gaming and streaming goals in even bigger ways, whether that’s traveling to gaming conventions like TwitchCon, getting hardware and equipment upgrades, or participating in educational conferences or instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits.
This semester, we are so thrilled to not only have female broadcasters represented from all across the United States and Puerto Rico, but also internationally from Mexico, Canada, Hungary, and London!
