Leadership Council Description

Responsible to:
1,000 Dreams Fund CEO

Term:
1 year and may be re-elected for successive terms.

Purpose:
Our Leadership Council is a special team dedicated to supporting the mission of 1,000 Dreams Fund by providing an expanded professional network for our beneficiaries, professional and personal connections for the fund, and resources to help our women achieve their dreams.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Participate, as available, in a 1,000 Dreams Fund event to provide advice and perspective on their personal and professional goals;
• Provide an opportunity, as available, for internships or other professional development for our beneficiaries;
• Introduce the 1,000 Dreams Fund to others in their network with an interest in the mission;
• Offer professional advice to the Fund as needed in areas of their professional expertise;
• Personally contribute $2,500 or more via donations, fundraising, or participation in events;
• Advocate for 1,000 Dreams Fund in ways that raise the profile of the organization.
