It’s A Hit! Hitmaker and 1DF Partner Up Again To Help Women Build A Career in Gaming And Esports

If you’ve been following us here for awhile, you may remember Hitmarker! It’s the world’s LARGEST gaming and esports job platform — and we launched a partnership with them last year that was designed to support the BroadcastHER Academy (powered By Allied Esports and HyperX), our fellowship program for women in gaming and esports.
We’re so excited to announce that we’re renewing that partnership for a second year, and we wanted to be sure to share all the details with you via our press release below.
The partnership serves 1DF’s BroadcastHER Academy, a first-of-its-kind esports and gaming fellowship program that’s aimed at supporting high-potential women interested in pursuing careers in the broadcast sector of the industry.
“We are thrilled to add Hitmarker’s incredible knowledge of recruitment practices in the gaming and esports space to our BroadcastHER Academy,” said Christie Garton, Founder and CEO of 1,000 Dreams Fund. “Our fellows will greatly benefit from their deep expertise, helping them go for those careers in the industry they dream of and deserve.”
As part of the partnership, Hitmarker will again be providing 1DF’s 2021 BroadcastHER Academy Fellows a video portfolio feature on Hitmarker’s social media channels to showcase our exceptional fellows to hiring managers and companies. They’re also conducting detailed cover letter and resume audits for all BroadcastHER Academy Fellows, ensuring each reaches a position where they can apply to job opportunities with the best possible representation of themselves.
In addition, 1DF and Hitmarker will team up for a virtual career workshop in June to give guidance on pursuing careers in gaming and esports and on general professional development.
1DF is also providing Hitmarker with a monthly feature on BroadcastHER LIVE broadcasts, streamed on 1DF’s Twitch channel, to celebrate the partnership.
“After a very successful first year, we’re thrilled to extend our partnership with 1,000 Dreams Fund,” said Cam Brierley, Hitmarker’s Content Lead. “1DF’s BroadcastHER Academy offers a fantastic mentorship program to women looking to work in the industry, and we’re proud to continue to support that by taking part in 1DF events, providing one-on-one advice to Academy Fellows, and amplifying their job search through our social channels. We’re excited for another great year of working with 1DF to help more talented people find jobs in the industry they love.”
