In honor of Women’s History Month, 1,000 Dreams Fund is proud to announce that, in partnership with the Ila and Dinesh Paliwal Foundation, we are EXPANDING the Paliwal Club of 100 Scholarship Fund into the Paliwal Club of 100 STEAM Scholars Fund — with increased funding available for winners!

We launched this program in 2019, specifically to fund and fuel the aspirations of 100 talented, women college and graduate students pursuing careers in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). Thanks to the expansion of the program, we will now be awarding $150,000 in scholarship funding over the next 10 years. How amazing is that!

Ten winners will be selected each year to receive a $1,500 scholarship to put toward their future, covering expenses such as research-related costs, travel to conventions and/or educational conferences, graduate school exams or entry fees, and instructional programs related to creative, artistic, or scientific pursuits. The Paliwals are also providing one hour of mentorship to the winners as part of their prize.

Dinesh Paliwal is the retired chairman and CEO of HARMAN and is a board member of Bristol Myers Squibb, Nestlé, and Raytheon Technologies. Ila Paliwal is an award-winning global recording artist, songwriter, composer, and producer.
