What started as founder and CEO Christie Garton’s vision to remove barriers for women has grown into a movement — fueling ambition, unlocking opportunities, and changing lives. This is where it all began. And we’re just getting started! 

In April, we’re proud to celebrate our 10-year anniversary — a huge milestone for our organization! To celebrate, we’re launching a special “Decade of Dreams” campaign, honoring the impact we’ve made together — and the work still ahead.

Join us for Decade of Dreams

From April 16–25, we invite you to be part of our 10-year anniversary campaign, Decade of Dreams — a celebration of impact, community, and possibility.

Our goal is to fund 10 dreams in 10 days to honor 1,000 Dreams Fund’s 10th year – and every contribution counts. Even $10 can help ensure that more women have the support they need to pursue what’s next.

During these 10 days, we’ll also share stories, milestones, and moments that have shaped 1,000 Dreams Fund — from the early days of the organization to the growing community that continues to carry the mission forward today.

“Sometimes support looks like funding a critical opportunity,” said Christie. “Sometimes it’s offering encouragement at the exact right moment.  Sometimes it’s simply being a reminder that someone believes in you. The impact isn’t always loud. But it’s lasting.”

A decade of removing barriers — one dream at a time

With every grant and scholarship, every in-person and virtual workshop and experience, every moment of mentorship and support, 1,000 Dreams Fund has stood alongside aspiring women with the resources, encouragement, and access they need to pursue what is possible.

Through our three core pillars — Funding, Mentoring, and Hiring — we continue to serve hundreds every year.

A few highlights we’re so proud of, as we reflect on 10 years of impact:

• We’ve made grants to women in 21 countries and 46 states.
• We’ve provided over 2,600 hours of mentorship.
• We’ve granted $1.1 million in microgrants and scholarships since our launch!

“The most meaningful part of these 10 years isn’t just the milestones — it’s the women behind them,” added Christie. “Every dream pursued, every opportunity unlocked, every moment of confidence gained is why this work matters so deeply.”

Decade of Dreams is both a celebration and a commitment — to keep showing up, keep investing, and keep making space for dreams to come true.
