We’ve selected our next BroadcastHER LIVE! host — and we couldn’t be more excited!

BroadcastHER LIVE! is our monthly podcast on the 1,000 Dreams Fund Twitch channel. Each month, the topics and guests change, but one thing remains the same — all shows aim to empower and help the women we serve achieve their goals and dreams in gaming.

In 2020, our BroadcastHER LIVE! show is going to be even bigger and better than ever! We’ll have special guest professionals each month giving their tips and insights on how to help viewers make streaming a career.

Each year, we seek a new host for the podcast. We had such fun with our 2019 host @MiladyConfetti, a BroadcastHER Academy grant recipient. You can check out one of her recent BroadcastHER LIVE! streams here!

With the new year, @LuxieGames is another accomplished woman in gaming and broadcasting — and she’ll be helping streamers reach their dreams in streaming through her advice and interviews she will conduct as our host!

Just FYI, here are the qualities we look for in a host!

• Commitment to empowering fellow women in broadcasting
• Energy and passion
• Comfortable in front of the camera
• A background in journalism or hosting/podcasting experience is beneficial, but not required
• Ability to commit to doing a one-hour LIVE show each month throughout 2020
• Passion and familiarity with the BroadcastHER initiative!
