It has been so exciting to watch our BroadcastHER Academy (powered by Allied Esports and HyperX), a fellowship program for women in gaming and esports, have such a big impact on the esports industry since our official program launch in 2019. Our BroadcastHER Academy Fellows have had incredible access to the people, places and resources that power the thriving gaming and esports industry.
That is why we are thrilled to announce our third annual BroadcastHER Academy Challenge, in partnership with our program partners Allied Esports and HyperX, to help select our next class of Fellows! Our Challenge aims to identify and support talented young women interested in pursuing careers in gaming and esports — both in-front of and behind the camera.
This year, we will select 10 Fellows to our 2021 BroadcastHER Academy, which comes with life-changing experiences and perks, like these:
- $1,000 microgrant to further your education
- A 60-minute mentor session with an executive from one of our partners by video conference. Mentorship matches are made based on skills and career interests of both the mentor and mentee.
- An all-expense paid trip for winners to visit a center of esports excellence, including the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas to shadow the Allied Esports team. Check out the recap of our 2020 trips here and here.
Does this sound like something you want to get in on?! Of course you do!
