1DF x Amazon x Twitch Announce ‘1000DreamsHack’: Our First-Ever All-Girls Hackathon

Are you in college and dreaming of a career in tech? Do you want the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded young women and leading mentors in tech?
We have such an exciting opportunity for you! Our first-ever 1000DreamsHack all-girls hackathon is going down on Saturday, September 14 at Yale University.
And we are so thrilled to partner with Amazon and Twitch for this event, where 100 young women from passionate about STEAM (science, tech, engineering, arts and math) will converge for a full day of mentorship and coding fun.
Whether you’re a hackathon newbie — or a seasoned hackathon-er! — we welcome you to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will give you a crash-course experience on what it takes to develop innovative new tools to make the popular streaming site Twitch even better for streamers and viewers.
Participants will leave with a wealth of experience, fantastic memories and professional connections with Amazon and Twitch mentors — including some special swag and prizing provided by Corsair!
Don’t live close to New Haven, CT (where Yale is located)? No worries! Travel grants of up to $100 are available for a select number of participants based on financial need.
Interested? Submit your application NOW! Space is limited at the Hackathon site and 100 individual participant slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We can’t wait to receive your application to this amazing event and help crack the code on greater diversity and inclusion in tech!
