1,000 Dreams Fund’s Paliwal Club of 100 for Women in Music and S.T.E.A.M. (science, tech, engineering, arts & math) — Now Accepting Applications for 2022!

When we advance women in the arts and sciences, we advance society! That’s the whole mission behind the Paliwal Club of 100.
The Paliwal Club of 100 STEAM Scholars Fund specifically celebrates driven young women in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with the intent to help accelerate their progress in school and continued support through their transition into the workforce.
And the Paliwal Club of 100 Music Scholars Fund serves the same purpose for young women in music, providing critical funds to women pursuing careers in the music industry.
Ten scholars for each fund will be able to put their $1,000 microgrants toward life-changing opportunities like conference travel, tech devices, music and art equipment, educational resources, ground-breaking projects, and more.
We’re so grateful to work with the Ila and Dinesh Paliwal Foundation on these two programs. The foundation is dedicated to creating positive social and economic outcomes for worldwide communities and their future leaders while providing both financial and advisory support to underrepresented populations in STEAM and music.
“An absence of gender diversity in technical and creative fields is unacceptable, and it’s time leaders and companies take meaningful action to drive change for future generations,” said Ila and Dinesh Paliwal. “Through our work with 1,000 Dreams Fund, we will create pathways to encourage and support the education, research, and career aspirations of high-potential female students who may not otherwise have the means to pursue their talents.”
Our previous Paliwal Club of 100 scholars are already setting the standard in their respective fields — and we’re so excited to meet our 2022 winners.
If you’re a highly motivated woman pursuing a STEAM or music career and are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or graduate school in the U.S., we want to hear from you!
Applications open on Thursday, April 21, which is World Creativity and Innovation Day, and close on Friday, September 30. Our 2022 Paliwal scholars will be announced on Tuesday, November 8, which is National STEAM Day!
Dinesh Paliwal is the retired chairman and CEO of HARMAN and is a board member of Bristol Myers Squibb, Nestlé, and Raytheon Technologies. Ila Paliwal is an award-winning global recording artist, songwriter, composer, and producer.
