1,000 Dreams Fund Made Waves at BitBasel! Miami Art Week 2024 Recap

It may be 2025, but we are still reflecting on our sunny December week in Florida, where 1,000 Dreams Fund made waves during Miami Art Week.

Art Basel, founded in 1970, is the leading global festival connecting collectors, galleries, and artists. One of the host cities is Miami Beach, in addition to its namesake Basel, Switzerland, Paris and Hong Kong. In conjunction with Miami Art Week, BitBasel is a five-year running summit that brings together artists, collectors, and enthusiasts across emerging technologies. Week-long event features exhibitions, interactive installations, panel discussions, and live DJ sets. And this year, for the first time,1,000 Dreams Fund was thrilled to be included!

Thanks to a partnership with Nice.Industries — a new app for impact built on blockchain software – 1DF was on the scene to announce the launch of our Future Fellowship: NextGen Women in Web3 initiative, our new program designed to provide scholarships and mentorship to young women looking to break into the world of Web3 and AI.

BitBasel Impact Happy Hours with Nice.Industries

As part of the official BitBasel programming, Nice.Industries, hosted a three-day Impact Happy Hour at the Sagamore Hotel. 1DF was thrilled to be featured as a participating nonprofit where 1DF Founder Christie Garton engaged with the BitBasel community and shared more about our Future Fund Fellowship.

Women of Web3 Book Launch Brunch Powered by Razorfish

Women of Web3 is a trailblazing community that’s passionately dedicated to transforming the ever-evolving realm of Web3 and digital assets, amplifying female voices.

1,000 Dreams Fund was delighted to attend Women of Web3’s launch for their first book, Women in the Web3 Space: Inclusive Futures (2024 Edition), as part of “The Future is Female Women of Web3 Takeover Events.” The mission of these events, in collaboration with One Love Art DAO, was to bring together powerful female leaders in Web3 for a one-of-a-kind experience during Miami Art Week.

Visible Women x BitBasel Present: Women Driving Global Change

Rounding out the week, BitBasel and Visible Women hosted a brunch reception and panel discussion at the Sagamore Hotel. On Sunday, December 8, Christie joined moderator Patricia Rotsztain and guest speakers Zoe Dauth, Julianna Glasse, Dina Mitrani, Luli Sulichin, and Stacey Yael on stage to highlight the Future Fund Fellowship.
