1,000 Dreams Fund Announces the 2025 Paliwal Club of 100 S.T.E.A.M. and Music Scholarship Winners!

Welcome to the Paliwal Club of 100 Class of 2025 Scholars

There’s no better way to kick off the New Year than by introducing you to our Paliwal Club of 100 S.T.E.A.M. and Music Scholars Class of 2025!

The Paliwal Club of 100, which was launched in partnership with the Ila and Dinesh Paliwal Foundation, helps to fuel the dreams of up-and-coming women in the arts and sciences.

The Ila and Dinesh Paliwal Foundation is dedicated to creating positive social and economic outcomes for worldwide communities and their future leaders. By providing both financial and advisory support to underrepresented populations in science, tech, engineering, arts, math and music, the foundation promotes innovation across the board.

Since the Paliwal Club’s launch in 2019, more than 60 scholars have received $1,000 scholarships to assist with educational opportunities that extend beyond tuition – including conference travel, graduate school exam fees, tech devices, music and art equipment, instructional programming, and more – along with mentorship from the Paliwal Family.

The Paliwal Club of 100 S.T.E.A.M. Scholars Fund celebrates driven women in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with the intent to help accelerate their progress in school and continued support through their transition into the workforce. “We are proud to support these emerging leaders in S.T.E.A.M. and music, and hope the funding provided through the scholarships will fuel their dreams even further,” said Shriya Paliwal. “It is clear they have already made important strides in their respective fields, and we know that they will continue to do great things in the years to come.”

Now, let’s meet our 2025 Paliwal Club of 100 S.T.E.A.M. Scholars:

  • Angie T. – New Jersey Institute of Technology: “I aspire to inspire more girls and women to pursue STEM fields, aiming for accessible education.”

The Paliwal Club of 100 Music Scholars Fund likewise elevates and celebrates young women in music, while providing critical funds to those who are pursuing careers in the music industry.

Meet our 2025 Paliwal Club of 100 Music Scholars:

  • Bella Michael P. – Spelman College: “As a Black classical pianist and educator, I often feel like an anomaly — and while I am proud to represent fewer than 2.1% of classical musicians who look like me, I have realized that being one of the few isn’t the goal… opening the door for others is.”
  • Casey Rose C. – Point Park University: “An aspiration of mine is to hold a specific singing and acting class for special needs women.”
  • Morgana N. – Indiana University: “I aspire to empower women in music by providing consultancy that supports their philanthropic initiatives with strategic guidance and ethical frameworks.”
  • Taleya J. – Louisiana State University: “I want to represent young women of color, complete my studies, and earn certifications to serve in the underrepresented field of music therapy.”
  • Treshana L. – University of North Texas: “I also want to foster supportive networks that empower women in music and highlight the freedom that comes from creative expression.”

Congratulations to these winners!
