1,000 Dreams Fund Announces Our 2026 BroadcastHER Academy Esports Fellows

It’s hard to believe but we are already in the EIGHTH year of our BroadcastHER Academy Fellowship for Women & Fems in Esports & Gaming – and we’re so excited to introduce our 2026 Fellows to you!
This annual program, in partnership with partners HyperX, Ghost Gaming, and Skillshot Media continues our mission of amplifying the voices of women and fems in gaming – both in front of and behind the camera.
As a reminder, here is what BroadcastHER Academy Fellows receive (it’s a game-changing prize package!):
🎮 A $500 microgrant to support their career aspirations in gaming
🎮 A career coaching session with an assigned mentor from one of our incredible partners
🎮 An all-expense-paid trip to Games Week Georgia for an unforgettable, behind-the-scenes experience with the teams at 1,000 Dreams Fund and Skillshot Media
🎮 HyperX products to level up their setup
🎮 Access to additional pop-up events throughout the year with 1DF’s partners
This year’s winners are five incredible talents who are already on their way to shaping the future of gaming and esports in bold ways:
BM0R3Natural: “My goal is to bring my 10 years of marketing experience into the gaming industry, helping shape marketing, communications, and community spaces where players from all backgrounds feel heard.”
FizzyIce5: “My career goal in esports is to be able to work behind the scenes in marketing teams, exploring business aspects to grow esports to a bigger platform than it is. I want people to know that esports can be just as important as regular sports.”
MorganOfTheLeaf: “My career goal is to become a video game test engineer and be a positive role model for girls who love gaming! Winning this fellowship would provide me with the knowledge, connections, and resources needed to achieve those goals!”
reluscent: “It’s my dream to become a caster or producer in esports broadcasting. This fellowship will help me strengthen my skills, connect with industry professionals, and build my portfolio.”
solJinx: “What really drove my passion for this industry was exploring production, live event operations, and being able to connect with the people who make it possible as well as the teams who play to keep the hype. Winning this fellowship is going to help me immensely in connecting with the goal of audio-visual production and the industry.”
The talent and ambition of these winners, and future industry leaders, is truly inspiring. They truly exemplify what the BroadcastHER Academy program is all about: representation, opportunity, and empowerment in a space where women continue to be underrepresented.
