We’re so excited the day is finally here to announce our 2024 Colgate-Palmolive Scholars!

This scholarship program, which we launched earlier this fall, is an exciting new funding opportunity specifically designed for students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. 

Created in partnership with Colgate-Palmolive — the worldwide leader in oral health and leader in pet nutrition, skin health, personal care and home care — reflects the company’s purpose to reimagine a healthier future for all people, their pets, and our planet. 

Through this scholarship, we look forward to fueling the ambitions of the deserving winners as they chart their own course and make their mark in the healthcare field.

Let’s meet our NINE winners — each of whom are receiving a $2,000 scholarship plus mentorship!

• Adedolapo A. – “My current career goal is to be a pediatrician, and I also plan to pursue a master’s degree in public health because I have an interest in global pediatric health and want to help improve the quality of healthcare for children in underserved areas.”
• Alexandria B. – “I aspire to become a veterinarian who is dedicated to tackling the many challenges and obligations in veterinary medicine. I desire to work at a mixed-species practice where I can educate clients and improve animal health.”
• Desi J. – “My career goal is to become an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) so I can help adults and elderly people live healthier, fuller lives.”
• Harmony D. – “My career goal is to become a compassionate and skilled dentist focused on providing high-quality dental care while promoting oral health awareness, especially in underserved communities.”
• Jillian W. – “My main career goal is to open a therapy and research center in my home community since we do not have easy access to occupational therapy or mental health services.”
• Katerine M. – “I am interested in getting my master’s in counseling for mental health and wellness, and I intend to focus on children’s mental health, specifically anxiety disorders, depression, and PTSD. My dream is to work in community health care centers, specifically with families of color to help them navigate through any adversities they may be experiencing.”
• Oluyemisi A. – “My career goal is to become a nutrition consultant/researcher within the next five years, with a focus on policy and advocacy.”
• Samantha S. – “My career goal is to receive my Bachelor of Nursing and become a fluent bilingual pediatric registered nurse.”
• Sydney G. – “My ultimate career goal is to work as a Health Communications Specialist for the CDC.”
